I think most of us would like to have the number of possible rebel nations increased in Eu 2. Personally, I would like one rebel nation identity per province (each province certainly had leading dynasties/factions which might have formed new minor nations).
My thought would be that a rebelling province has a chance of turning into a nation after every x years of rebellion, and that all successful rebellions in adj. provinces then take its nationality. This allows a multiplicity of possibilities.
Regardless of method, I am wondering whether we could help the designers to at least have the option. Can everyone/anyone list a province they know a bit about, and what it's likely "national title" might have been. It might be a prominent local dynasty, league or order. In particular it could be a family originating in that province that 'almost' took over its larger national area, or a force that was conquered but still active in the early part of the period and might have resurged.
Whether its used by paradox or not, it might still be a useful resource for future scenario makers in the future.
