Still haven't had dinner, which means I'll have to dive out of the game for 30mins or so. Which is a bummer to say the least. :(

I am not sure if MacDonald or Welly was leading. Maybe I should have sent no leader...

I think MacDonald was leader. Welly got downgraded when Bob edited him back in. He didnt lead in Ingermanland either. :(

Either way, it was a very nice session, and Im very sure that we wouldve won if we had continued a bit longer. :)

Unless Welly had died randomly...
IMO Russia could have been beaten if we had crushed his armies near Ingermanland. Taking the provs would have been easy after that...it could have been enough.
OE's weakness was probably that he couldn't transport his armies between Europe and Asia without moving all the way thru Russia. So we could have tried to destroy first the Asian part and then the European part of his army. Or the other way around.

Not sure we would have made it before 1820 though...

Personally I don't think you would have beaten me in the time limit, possibly not at all, the armies I met you with in Ingermland were certainly not all I had by a long shot, so even a total annihilation of them wouldn't have been decisive. Russia was covered in minimal/small forts which meant I could afford to keep trading provinces for your attritional death then relatively easily take them back.

Not to mention the fact Russia is more than able to take a few stabhits with a stabcost at about 2/3 months income :)

Still Lannes, Davout and partly Napolean all killed by Bagration is not a bad tally :)

it was fun subbing as portugal :), joohoo dint even put up a fight :p

Hopefully we would have been able to keep sending enough armies to keep a few provs under control. Ingermanland, Novgorod and Moscow had quite a lot of MP together...

And to say Bagration did that well...Nappy was a Swedish kill and keeping Lannes alive was not something I put real effort in at that point. He had a few months at best anyway. Of course the loss Davout and his army were completely because of Bagration :(

Great game guys, I'm really glad that I played that last session and I'm looking forward to RH2.

I doubt enough of the RH-players will be around for RH2 in the near future. I am considering taking a break from EU2 and playing on weekdays isn't the best for me anyway. And as far as I know some of the more reliable players are considering taking a break too.

Hmmm, maybe the fact he had no fleet and was fighting France and England influenced that a little ;)

I don't be to dramatic but I am thinking of quit or make a long vacation from EU2. I know I say this too many times but I will stay away as long as I can.
The game eats too much time when sometimes I need to do some more important things.

Well I know getting reliable people together nowadays is difficult, but I'm sure with the right day we can get 7-8 people. That is enough to cover all the majors and as RH proved, that turns out to be fun enough. :D

But Bagration was the one that got Nappy's 150K army down to 35K in one battle so I am claiming a part of the credit for that :D

And Lannes last campaign was really funny from our side, my chat going something along the lines of
"You don't need to engage him, he dies in 1809"
*100K Prussians with leader annihilated*
"For gods sake, pull back, he dies in May"
*120K swedes annihilated*
"Oh ffs, well I might as well kill those 400 cannon"
