I am playing at Normal skill level. I'm not an ace at this stuff yet.

I told the Nazis to go screw themselves and rejected the Mannheim/Ribbentrop Pact. I couped both Latvia and Estonia. I left Finland alone.

I was throwing bodies and tanks to the border in massive amounts. Then, June 1940 came and went. The Germans never fired a shot. We broke out the vodka and threw a big celebration, looking forward to one more year of building and research.

Romania resisted the Axis for a while, and we tried to sway them diplomatically, but before I knew it, German troops showed up in the south and my potential front widened significantly.

The Germans finally attacked in April of 1941. They kicked us out of Minsk after a damn good fight by Zhukov, and we made an honorable retreat to an already bolstered second line. The Germans advanced no further.

Attacks in the south were far more effective. Just when it seemed like the whole house was going to burn down, the rains of May hit and the Germans found themselves attacking during thunderstorms. They took massive casualties in the south.

Am reinforcing my formations as the clouds appear to be clearing. It is going to be a long deadly summer.
