I am currently playing as a Norwegian viking chief, I am allied to Sogn and they got attacked by two different chiefs at the same time (they're not allied so two separate wars). I of course honour my alliance and pledge to help defend Sogn, big mistake...
Both powers totally ignore the county they're supposedly fighting for and beeline straight towards my holdings down in Telemark, my ally just sits in Sogn while I get tag teamed by two different armies and I have no way to end the war since I'm not one of the main participants and I can't find an option to back gracefully out.
I get that the AI should focus a bit on the player in strategy games to keep things engaging but this feels absurd and annoying both from an immersion and a gameplay perspective.
