"refreshing Save games 100%" stuck

So i have been away for a while since UW dropped. i got the dlc back then but wanted to wait for more mods to update.

just now i loaded up and BT updated again to 1.6.2 and so i reinjected and ran modtek again. i am only running:
Better AI
Skip intro cutscenes
Skip travel cutscenes

The game is stuck at the main menu with " Refreshing Save Games 100%" and the loading pinwheel going on indefinitely.

help?
