Regarding the last update (about the confuse spell)

"Updates to Magicka have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

- Added a new Magick; Confuse to the Original Campaign and the Basic Magicks pack."

I cant find the spell in my game, I looked on the list in the description of the Basic Magicks pack and on the Magick list in the pause menu (where most of the things are ????, but there is no visible confuse)

Do i need to get a spell tome for the spell? (if i do why isnt it in the Basic Magicks pack?)

It's given to you after the tutorial in chp1 along with revive and CTD (and meteor storm if available). Remember that it's possible to change chapters now so you can just go back to chp1, get the spell and continue from wherever.
