This is a good start to healing the rift between players and company by delivering on the promises made, thank you. I hope that the pace of it is much faster from now on.

I hope that large mechanical changes to the economy and features are still in the pipeline too.

May I also suggest you pin this announcement to the featured articles, so everyone in the forums can see it without going to the official information tab?

I'd rather the devs create and then modders and creators can build off the content the devs created. Personally, I'm not a fan of mods. I prefer the devs create.

Your point has a pretty big flaw: not even the assets you see ingame were created by Colossal Order this time. They are at least partly created by Ulysses Graphics.
On assets it doesn't really matter if it's a "mod" or not as these packages work exactly the same way as the included content technically.

Even more picky - some people on COs art team and some developers were modders in before on C:S1 ;)

We would love to provide mods on GFN, but right now it's not possible. We're working with Nvidia to see how to make it work, but no news right now.
This is unbelievable. You literally had a promotion based on GFN and we can't even get CO-blessed region packs.

And it's not that you can't do mods on GFN. Maps work fine. It's that you can't do code mods. I've said this many times on this forum -- not sure where else I can do it -- you need a way to get white-listed mods to work that would be the same as DLC.

Between this and the launch disaster... Even if the game is better it's just so frustrating to find out about stuff like this. But Paradox and CO already have my money, so I guess it doesn't actually matter for them.

I just realised that the map you used for the video doesn't acknowledge the independence of Kosovo. Kosovo declared independence in 2008 and is recognised by most EU countries, including Sweden and Finland. Please update your world maps.

Can I suggest the USA packs be renamed to North America, or USA and Canada to not exclude Canada which shares some similar styles of buildings with the USA but with less parking lots.

Also, future region pack suggestions, Atlantic Canada (colourful), French Canada, Prairies/Midwest (Canada and USA), Artic North America (Canada and USA), and Vancouverism.

NA, as a theme, already exists in vanilla

Can this get pinned properly so it shows up on the front page?

It has to be asked for for half the announcements. At some point, you would hope someone tweaks the process.

The packs are just assets, so buildings of varying types, zonables, signature, and service buildings, etc.

There will be 8! We are still working on inporting them all into the game, as soon as we know when we can post them we will update the roadmap with more travel destinations!
We would be able to subscribe to them as a whole or we will have to add each one?

That is really disappointing, GeForce NOW players of this game get a worse experience already. Now we don't even get official packs because it was decided to distribute them only on a highly restricted custom modding platform. Great
