In the meantime while we await further news, I have one small suggestion (if it still applies)....
Wiz, earlier you mentioned 'Styles of Warfare' (Roman, Parthian etc). One of your Styles of Warfare was Punic, which you said would give bonuses to elephants, cavalry and naval units. I would like to suggest that this be altered slightly for a focus on mercenary troops - historically, Carthage's army was overwhelmingly reliant on mercenaries since their own citizens rarely fought outside of the city and instead they used their great wealth to hire mercenaries from Libya, Spain and Gaul. Also, whereas the Romans maintained a standing army of its own citizens, Carthage tended to raise troops only when the need arose (e.g. wars in Rome and Sicily).
Perhaps mercenary efficiency could be improved in Punic style Warfare? I'm not sure how feasible it would be to increase the AI's use of mercenaries using this style but either way, its just a suggestion based on historical accuracy.
Can't wait to try the finished mod!
