Question: when playing as Rome, how does this mod affect the appearance of barbarian hordes? Won't all those tribes in Gaul and Germania absorb the hordes before they make it to Italy?

Hordes can spawn out of tribal provinces with the migration and hording mechanic, so you can still be invaded by hordes if you border tribes (or hordes can even form inside your own borders if you start conquering tribes).

Additionally, barbarian nomads can invade from numidia, arabia and russia.

Question: Playing Arverni. In the mission&decisions menu where you can become the Gallic nation, in the requirements Aedui and Carnutes are mentioned twice. Is this just a mistake or are they mentioned in stead and two other provinces left out?

There is also a bug with placement of troops in allobroges/ambarri and lemovices. And you can walk from arverni to allobroges to vocontii in just a day. Nice for quickly intercepting enemy troops, but not really realistic. ;)

Great mod though. :)

Oops, this actually seems to be a vanilla error.:eek:o;)

I have run in to a major problem. My game of Arverni freezes at the date September 31 563 every single time. This really makes me sad, cause I have conquered practically all of Gaul and Germany and have most Iberia as vassals and is about invade Britannia... and I got plans for the Romans. :D
I have attached the logs. I really really hope you can help me on this. I just enjoy this game too much to let it go.:(

Did any governor declare independence recently? I know there's a freezing issue caused by splinters.

Actually I don't remember. It maybe that Tripolis has declared independence, but Im not sure. A lot of nations has declared independence without it causing any problems. Is this something I can correct in the savefile?

Can you upload the save? Also, is this the latest beta patch?

Yeah, email me at wiz at shardsofdalaya dot com

Freezes for me too, I'm pretty sure a splinter is at fault. Looking into it.

Nailed the problem, uploading version 1.04. New version should be fully save game compatible.

Nice work Wiz, I especially like the grain law and bread riots.

I always though there was something missing with regards to this, Rome and Athens spring to mind. I havent checked out what you put in but it would be nice if you could blockade a densly populated "city" (province) and cause the riots as well. You could use:
Code:
is_blockaded = yes

- Cut down on the frequency of some ruler events that were firing far too often

I noticed the "horney ruler" event spamming a lot in my last few games (for monarchies), is this one of the events you adjusted?
