Sorry Ignore the following. Have just found the thread on uninstalling and it worked fine
Hi I've got a problem reinstalling EU2.
I'd decide to start playing EU2 after a long break. Took a look on the forum and saw that it was now patched to 1.9 Took the advice given and decided to uninstall, reinstall and apply the patch.
So I go into control panel (I'm running windows 2000 pro by the way) and add/remove software. chose remove, install shield comes up OK. I get a screen with game graphics on. All looks ok, but seems to uninstall very quickly and the games still shows in the list of programs. So I try again with the same result. Eventually (yes I know this was really stupid) I just delete the C:\Programs\Paradox folder :wacko:
Next I insert the game disk. It boots to the primary menu with the options 'Start' or 'Uninstall'. When I choose uninstall I get exactly the same result as above. I have also tried repair (without much hope as there is no longer anything to repair :wacko: )
Help would be much appreciated
