So, I've noticed that we've had a lot of discussion on the formable nations of EU5, and I figured, well, why not make a thread so we can discuss the releasable nations? I think that there's a lot of them, and I am curious to hear what ideas could be thought of, even if many are rehashes from previous Paradox games, and I think that having it could help give some minor feedback to the developers. So without further ado, I'll go ahead and get us started off with the ones I'd like to see.

I would also like to say that I would love a similar treatment to them as formable so we have the historical ones, the plausible ones, and the ahistorical ones, all toggled by game rules. This will only focus on the ones that I find historical or plausible, but I might make my own addendum with ahistorical formables.

Slavonia is not a sub-region of Hungary but a region of Croatia. Croatia consists of three parts (Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia)
Slavonia in 1337 was much like Croatia as a vassal of Hungary. That's what I mean more explicitly. It's a subregion of Hungary... in 1337. It's Croatian through and through, no denying that, hell they were unified in 1476 as one banate, but that's just how I worded it.

First of all kudos for the effort and opening this topic.

Just a small correction, Croatia and Slavonia were not vassals but in a personal union based on the "pacta conventa". That is, different states with a common king, the hungarian one. Croatia and Slavonia had their own sabors (parliament) and ban (royal governor who governed those parts). although Slavonia is placed in a subregion of Hungary, it would be correct to say that it is a region of Croatia that is under the rule of Hungary

I would like if majority of cultures gets its own tag. Even cultures that historically never had their own separate tag. Like from your example Székelyföld, Lazia, but expanded to majority of cultures:
- Aromanians,
- Arvanites
- Grikos
- Copts
...

I understand that paradox will not add alt-history flavor on release, just throwing it out there for future dlc's

I actually did suggest a Aromanian tag of Vlachia! But I would agree, I would love to see that every culture gets a tag at some point.

I would like to see more releasables that are former countries/titles that no longer exist in 1337. I also think generally there should be releasables everywhere possible so we can partition countries and vassalize parts of countries. Hopefully vassals will be better in this game.
