I believed I've encountered a particularly odd bug in this build.

I am running 0.96 and the GoT unit mod. The bug in question seems to be something to do with Lannisters for some reason, particularly the children of the ruler. I do not know the cause, but when they have kids, the ruler of the westerlands will have their child appear with drowned god religion. Even if both parents are faith of the seven. No one's educating them either, its like that at birth.

Can confirm this is an issue for me with only base. I've had Lannister children randomly be born Drowned God. There also appear to be some issues with mega war mechanics.. if the Iron Throne doesn't finish a war fast enough most of the other kingdoms will declare kingdoms (empire level) with no consequences from the king on the Iron Throne. No war, no opinion malus, nothing.

I am having trouble establishing the kingsguard in the conquest scenario, it just keeps popping up and when I select the knight I want nothing happens and it comes right back a few days later

and now I cannot load any saves... :(

Has anyone else had an alarming high amount of gender law changes in the iron throne ? I currently have a Targaryen queen on the iron throne ( Ai controlled ) with 5 sons, and she keeps changing the law between agnatic and agnatic-cognatic about once every year ( leading to all the vassals having several hundred negative opinion of her ).
Yes.

Possibly quickfix for drowned god Lannister children

Find #Lannister children may get traditional names in dynasty_events file
In this part:
immediate = {
religion = drowned_god
if = {
drowned_god change to the_seven

The building overhaul mod and the bloodlines mod. But it seems that others are having these issues as well. Update on the YiTi game, the Chinese emperor dies and all the 7 Kingdoms become independent (i.e. The Rock, The Trident etc.). 2 years later Dorne suddenly becomes part of the Kingdom of the Trident and the YiTi again become overlords of the Vale.

I think it's been confirmed it is due to submods

I think it should be pretty obvious that ANY sub mod (unless updated and properly working for this version) shouldn't be used as you are bound to have issues...

Couple of things I've noticed in my current game:
I'm emperor of South-West Essos (Rogue Prince start) and I'm now suffering constant Embargo wars (for about a year in-game now) from the Iron Throne that end inconclusively after 2-3 days, only to begin again a few days later. Annoying as my Empire is then constantly split into it's Kingdoms, and whilst it is my succession is messed up - random counts become my heirs despite having 2 sons in my court (Supposed heir is King of one of my sub-Kingdoms, don't if this is a reason?). Current solution is a 2nd Targ invasion of Westeros...
Some odd marriages around, Queen on the Iron Throne marries regularly to a lowly Arryn lord; then their son & heir marries matrilineally to an unlanded Lannister woman... Plus Dorne doesn't stay as cognatic beyond 1 generation (is it meant to?)
No sub-mods except the DLC unitpacks.
Otherwise really enjoying it, and no more crashes so far!

Edit: Reloading the game seems to have solved the endless embargo wars

That was an issue a few patches ago, though the previous patch before this one solved it by rapidly ending them before the attackers and defenders split. We might be better off with Embargo wars removed anyway.

Is anyone else getting crazy amounts of peasant revolts like I described earlier, or is it just me?

Yea all peasant revolts seem to go against the iron throne ( or whoever the highest liege happens to be ) instead of the ruler of the specific region the revolt happens in.

Peasant revolts always target the top liege, that's normal. The issue is that the AI goes into debt all the time and despite this the modders gave Lack of Funds a RR malus. It makes the game a chore. Mace went into debt and it basically turned the Reach into 1917 Russia.

Actually didnt know that. Has the current patch changed something with the AI to make it horrible with its money ? because i dont think i've had as many revolts as i have with the current patch.

AI has always been terrible with money in this game, this mod makes it worse by adding costs to marriage/education. The problem is that Lack of Funds adds a staggering 6% revolt risk, which is bad if any king/emperor tier character gets it because it adds it to every province and vassal province they own, on top of any RR risk from local mismanagement. And this mods AI does not know how to effectively hunt down revolt stacks.

I wonder if it would be possible to make the AI always have their priest doing the charity donation thing to reduce the revolt chance ? though i guess that would mean that as long as the AI has a somewhat competent priest, that would pretty much remove the chance of revolts.

Edit. Unless of course that AI has more than one title i guess
