This mod hasn't been playable on Mac for months and it's making me really sad. No events are firing.

Seconded. Playing ACOK bookmark as Dorne... and no events happen. Very disappointing.
ever since this update it has become impossible to play a game for more than 150 years, there always comes a time when I get a CTD every year without any submods installed. Could this be linked somehow to me not owning M&M (but having patched the game to the latest free patch)? It's a real shame 
It also seems to be 2 seperate issues, games in CoB last even shorter and then just crash on every save (whether autosave or manual) while the main mod games last longer and crash at random dates with no reproduceability but still with consistency

Trying this mod for the first time without any success. Download and ran the 1.4.1 windows installer, seemed to run fine. However, when I start CKII, select AGOT mod and 'Play' it crashes during the loading screen (Raising the Banners). No error, just crashes. I am on CKII 2.7.1. Any ideas?
Do you have any non-AGOT mods enabled. From your post, it sounds like you have a vanilla mod that alters the coat of arms enabled at the same time.
