Gamestop is now listing TT as ships within 24 hrs. I take this to mean they have received copies as they have been listing an ETA for awhile. I'm going to give them a try.

Dug a little further on their site and it says it arrived today! WooHoo! :)

I called my local Gamestop and was told that it had shipped yesterday and was due to arrive sometime today. Usually that means in store availability will be tomorrow. Usually they are pretty reliable with thier info, at least with me they have been, so it should be out in NA tomorrow sometime.

Whats puzzling is there is no confirmation at Strat First or from Paradox

FROM GAMESTOP.com

In the Just Arrived list! :) The bad news is:

Two Thrones
Publisher: Strategy First
Developer: Hip Interactive. Inc
Platform: PC
Category: Strategy

   I can see Paradox marketing execs collapsing in fits of anger already!

On the other hand, it IS available!

EDIT: Only technically. In my area there are 4 GameStops (!!!), none of them HAVE it in stock, but there is "more on the way".

EDIT II: The best news of all is

TWENTY BUCKS U.S.! It's CHEAP!!!

Yeah, I noticed that HIP stuff. What's up with that. My copy shipped today and should arrive tommorrow. Oh Joy! :D

20 bucks¡¡¡¡
in spain it costs 29.95 euros (approx 37 USS) . nice arbitrage perspective, by jove.
That's weird. Johan said that such games like CotN were not meant to be sold at full-priced games.

In Spain, recently released games are about 45-50 € (don't know how many $, but a lot). So in fact 25 € is cheaper than a full-priced one.

But not enough. Spain is different!

Bye

Ebgames has now pushed back their ship date to February 9th. That is weird since the product is already in stock at Gamestop.

When I called Gamestop the other day they told me it was shipped, called yesterday and they told me it had not shipped. Frankly this is pretty perplexing as a consumer, I dont understand what the mystery is, I thought for sure that there would be a diligent effort by the producers to get it to retail and get it advertised.

Cant find much of anything on this game, no reviews, no ads, just preorder info from retail outfits, I dont get it. I know that development is finished and its not in Paradox hands anymore so I guess its wait and see what the producers do...

When I use the stock checking program on the Gamestop website, Two Thrones does not appear in stock anywhere within the max 200 mile search range.

It is understandable that Two Thrones would go to the stores using budget shipping, but I also wonder if the game is even at the warehouse. Has anyone had a web order ship yet?

EnPeaSea, my order from Gamestop shipped yesterday with FedEx and tracking says that it is on the truck for delivery and the truck is somewhere in my city as I write. I should have it in my hands in a few hours. :) Adrenaline Vault also listed TT as being in stores yesterday; though with such a low profile, it might be hard to find until next week.

Cool. Hook us up with some impressions if you get the chance. :)

Ok, I have installed the game and read the manual. Manual is only 20 pages but it seems to clearly explain all functions. Graphics are nice and no problems or lockups navigating the map. Just getting ready to start a full HYW game as the English.

It seems the game will be a constant struggle to balance your own factions within your population, while managing the conflict with the other kingdoms. Should be a very nice game. I would call it elegantly simple yet engaging. Hopefully after playing tonight I won't think it is simplisticly boring. :) I'll give further comment later tonight or tommorrow.

I played about 6 hours tonight and I can say that I really like the game. Had 3 CTD which were anoying but overall the game is fairly stable. Only other real complaints I have are that you can't dock your ships in a port and there is no music. There is a setting for music volume so I don't know if this is a bug or what is going on but after EU, the lack of music is deafening. My main gripe is the nondocking ships. I played as England and the French start with naval superiority. They immediately make a beeline for the divided English fleet and grind it down. The first few months are a mad scramble by the English to save some of their very expensive fleet; but to no avail since you can't retreat to a port. Also, since the AI has an uncany awareness of when the enemy is about to complete a new fleet, it is almost impossible to reconstitute a fleet once the AI has naval superiority. It is very frustrating to constantly have your new fleets sent to the bottom of the sea as soon as they are created. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but there desperately needs to be a way to put a fleet into port instead of it staying out to sea forever. I played on Normal/ Normal so I don't feel like the AI should have perfect intelligence on my fleets. Other than that, I think the game is great.

Well thanks for the update Sol, much appreciated. Honestly after reading your post I have to think your doing something wrong, I no suggesting your stupid or anything, but not being able to put ships to port is ridiculous. I REALLY hope that isnt a bug, we'll see soon enough as other reports file in. I am hoping to get mine today at Gamestop, I have a few old trade in PS games and need to go to the store so I didnt preorder.

I thought I must be missing something also since the engine is almost identical to EU. I hope it is either a bug or my ignorance that is causing the problem because it was really no fun playing as England and watching my navy get savaged. I was finally forced to make peace with France just to get them to leave my navy alone. I was surprised when they accepted but as soon as I was about to launch a new ship, they declared war and parked their fleet outside of my port and sank the newly created ship. The whole French cruise of doom then started over as they went up and down my coast attacking anything in sight. There must be something I am doing wrong, though I tried everything I could think of to get my poor fleets onto port. I will give it another try today. I think that it should be handled as in EU; newly built ships appear in port. As it is now, they appear in the sea zone with no apparent way to enter port. Other than this, I really like the game.

P.S. There should also be some timer or limit to diplomatic actions other than just money. Maybe one action toward each kingdom per month. As it is, you can throw gifts at a kingdom every day to increase relations.

Crazy idea here sol but have you tried to enter an enemy port? Or a conquered enemy province with a port? I know you havent had the game long, just a shot in the dark...
