F.A.Q.
What is “The Lamplighters League and the Tower at the End of the World”?
It is an exciting turn-based strategy game with engaging characters, taking place in an all-new world set in an alternate 1930s with an occult twist, carried by a unique artistic direction. Globetrot across a variety of exciting locales around the world and outwit your enemies in strategic turn-based combat - and, if you play your cards right, you might just save the world!

What platforms is The Lamplighters League available on?
The game is available on:
Steam
Epic Games Store
Microsoft Store
Xbox Series X|S

Is The Lamplighters League on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes! Xbox Game Pass users will have access to The Lamplighters League for free starting October 3rd!

Is the game available on Steam Deck?
Yes! The Lamplighters League is playable on Steam Deck.

What are the game editions available?
There are two; the Standard Edition, which is the base game, and the Deluxe Edition bundle, which includes the game and extra bonus content Both editions are digital-only.

What’s included in the Deluxe Edition?
The Steam and Epic Game Store Deluxe Edition includes:
The Artbook
The Soundtrack
Bonus Agent: Nocturne
The Xbox/Microsoft Deluxe Edition only includes the bonus agent: Nocturne

Can I upgrade to the Deluxe Edition after purchasing or Pre-Ordering the base game?
This depends on your platform:
On Steam you can buy the Artbook, Soundtrack, and Nocturne as a bundle for a discounted price or separately at their original cost.

On Epic you can either buy the full deluxe edition or the Artbook, Soundtrack, and Nocturne separately, this is due to their DLC system.

On Xbox and Microsoft Store the Deluxe edition includes the base game, it does not include the soundtrack and artbook. Once you’ve purchased the base game here you can buy Nocturne separately.

What is the official game website, where can I read more about the game?
Grab a look here!

I have a question I want to ask a Developer, where can I do that?
We will post F.A.Q. issues on the Official Discord and Forum. Feel free to post it there and make sure to follow us on both platforms not to miss a thing!

Where can I report a bug or send feedback?
Paradox Forum is our main platform for bug reporting: this is the best way to let our developers know that something is wrong. We can also help you with some minor issues on our Discord server.

Will my demo save carry over at release?
The demo save is separate so it won't carry over, however you can manually copy the save from the demo folder to the base game folder once you’ve downloaded the full game.

Does this game have cross-save between Xbox and PC?
There's only cross-save between Xbox and PC on the Microsoft Store but not between Xbox and Steam or Epic.

Got another question? Ask it in this thread!

I bought the Deluxe Edition for the Series X, with Nocturne. While the add on downloaded, the Nocturne Character does not come up as one of the characters to add to your group. Is this a separate game entirely, or how do I activate Nocturne so that they are a playable character?

Hey!

Nocturne has a natural place in the story and will appear for you on Week 5.

If you'd like to trigger her arrival earlier you can do so by opening up a custom campaign and jumping to week 5.

Hey there, not sure if this is the right place, i am currently in week 21 and have just finished my first major heist with the other two and keystones ready to start but have not seen a new agent for recruitment (still missing 4) since the first couple appeared directly after the tutorial.

I couldn't find a readme unless it's in the dev diaries that might explain if they are somehow gated behind in game weeks or other mechanics which i am now wondering, but feels a little strange i may be nearing or past the halfway point - getting 'late game' materials - but with just over half the roster... am i just that lucky?

Hey!

Agent recruitment missions are unlocked by sending agents on personnel search expeditions (the diamond pin with a little person shape in them). Finding agents this way is random. Expect collecting all agents in a single playthrough to be challenging!

the real problem for having spent many hours despite the bugs in the game. it is the threat which rises much too quickly and totally disproportionate and does not come down sufficiently. balancing at this level would allow me to be very enlightened and judicious.
