We'd also need a much more robust installer if it were to be able to download and install the Music Mod as part of the installation.
I like the recent changes to the soundtrack as it does a far greater service to the Elder Scrolls series. However, I would like to see the main theme changed as it sounds too much like a focus on Skyrim, with it singing about Dragonborn and all, instead of the entire metropolitan universe. I think a main theme more reminiscent to Oblivion's theme would be far more appropiate. Not only is it largely the theme of the Imperials, those who have united Tamriel in the majority of Elder Scrolls games, but Oblivion was the first game where the player could run around Cyrodiil, representing a completed world of the Elder Scrolls in Tamriel. Not even Arena did this since you were only in Cyrodiil in the beginning and in the end of the game in a very limited section. It would signify the massive amount of effort and love put into this mod, especially with tons of content created where Bethesda did not make. The current theme sounds too much like the mod was inspired by Skyrim, not the Elder Scrolls universe. I think removing the vocals could do the trick, actually.

I'd like to see a few Morrowindy and Obliviony tracks. I'm really digging the current music though, it's so cute.

Adding and replacing music is pretty easy - I swapped the main menu theme with the Morrowind theme for nostalgia.
None of the current team are musicians, no new music is likely at this point.

We could ask the folks over at the Skywind/Skyblivion project if we could use their music tracks? They're (almost) completely original (No copyright issues with Bethesda) and fit the theme quite nicely in my opinion.

A bit of necroing, but I did convert their songs into ogg and made a mini mod for myself.
Unfortunately I can't post a link to the SkyWind music ready for CK2 as I tried to get permission but they didn't let me.

Forgot the instructions - download the EK Music submod and extract the music folder inside of the submod folder. The songs.txt I provided have both the submod music and the ones you now have

Now that we're back in the groove, I feel like pointing out that the music in the pack is excellent.

Only the main menu theme, the rest of the music is still in this pack to keep download sizes smaller.
