So... there are a bunch of provinces with no settlements. Is that WAD?

Also, While the on-map names seems ok, when you hover over the characters, they are styled weirdly, such as "king of tributary <dynasty name>.

Lastly, It might be somewhat interesting to creat some small buffer states between the main empires, and make those regions more prone to rebel, to instill a greater sense of "warring states".

Not sure if it's been mentioned (I'm sure it has been), but Dhorak's Keep has troops from every corner of Europe, the Middle East, and northern Africa, as well as Jaguar infantry from Aztec America. I'm not immediately saying it's a bug or anything, but it definitely seems unbalanced. Are there any plans to make new Calradian building types to replace them?

As cool as it may be, I don't like the idea of conquering Calradia from my single-province country filled to the brim with English/Welsh longbowmen, Scottish pikemen, Baltic warriors, Russian druzhinas, Norse housecarls, Ethiopian spearmen, horon caste bowmen, Flemish urban militia, Aztec Jaguar warriors, Nubian warriors, Moorish cavalrymen, European knights, Iberian light cavalrymen, Italian pikemen, (Polish?) hussars, Cataphracts, Gallowglass Scot warriors, Somali light infantry, Serbian Gusar light cavalrymen, Jewish heavy infantry, War Elephants and their riders, Germanic infantry, and Suebi warriors.

(I used the console command to play as the lord of Zendar right away.)

And still no Shaolin monks? Sigh.

Can I recommend something? Perhaps restrict any new fiefs to the new "village" fief, it'd be something you upgrade from whenever you max out its settings and prosperity is high.

Or alternatively, make castles and cities more restricted in where you can make them, and what they do. Perhaps castles don't get castle towns and stuff like that. etc.

i thought rhodoks were scottish not italians
I thought Rhodoks were mountain merchants with an unhealthy obsession for fashionable clothing and ridiculous shields.

Gotten Any more work done? If you need help with localization or testing I can help.

Yes we have a bunch of fixes/small changes. I sent my changes to Cradon and I think he doesn't have good internet access. But I can assure you guys that he is still working on this ! :)

That would make them swiss or something similar.

There are many things which need to changed. For instance, there are three caliphs that all immediately declare jihads, and also the pope immediately declares a crusade. Often times these caliphs will conquere regions that don't even border their land, and it ruins all the borders. Given the base game, the largest title that should be able to declare war over should be a duchy, or you could make a new casus belli that just annexes whatever counties are occupied by the end of the war. Either way it's currently ridiculous that the tarkhan caliph conquers tihr in one war.

I also have a problem with religion and culture swapping. It's too easy. one nomadic khan invades the sarranids and suddenly half of the bezanid cultured provinces are tarkhan cultured provinces. You should probably alter the settlement decision for nomads, it appears that you have 765 provinces while vanilla ck2 has 1463 provinces, so you should probably edit the decision to require twice as much population.

I really like the setup for this mod, all the complexity in culture, religion, and governments that you guys made is really awesome, it's just a shame that it vanishes within 50 years because of the current mod mechanics.

After another year without Bannerlord, I think we should continue our work with or without it. Currently we are working on map and there will be a new Developer Diary for long-awaited upcoming patch and changes. I can't give any date but hopefully all of them will happen in this summer. Soon™ you will hear about more!

Yay! Very glad to see the mod will be back. Makes waiting for Bannerlord a breeze!

Hey guys, as a former developer for this mod, want to let you know that it has been updating to 3.2.1 by another person on Steam. Definitely check it out! I too thought this mod was dead, but am glad its back. Its name is "Calradian Kings" and in September it got updated.

Well, actually that was me who renamed the mod from The Legend of Zendar to Calradian Kings. :D And it was still me updating it with the help of others. Check out my new project, Calradian Kings for CK3 here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/wip-calradian-kings.1414804/

It was the announce of CK3 and the release of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord that was holding me back, now we can all bring this mod to next level together!
