My first test run:

The british L1 fighter sprite seems to be working. (Yay!)
Austria-Hungary did nothing about the archduke, they were defeated and collapsed. The Habsburg Empire is now reduced to it's component parts. In the summer of 1914. "Done by Christmas", indeed. :)

I just remembered, TGW was said to be done by christmas. It's a success! (If someone actually reports a Great War coming from running the mod, that is...)

Oh, and I get 4 db mismatch error messages from running the scenario. Maybe that's causing the leader problems for A-H?

Great work so far guys now we just gotta tweak some stuff! :)

First thing I found is that there are quite a few of database mismatches. It almost scared me at first. But it finally loaded.

Playing as Germany I clicked on the build air squadron tab and boom...CTD. Tried it again...bam CTD.

France and Russia DOW on Sanusia right as the game starts...then they DOW on Mexico. Then about a week later all the defeat events fire.

Like I said it looks good now we just gotta tweak a little.
 
Found what's causing the lack of Austro-Hungarian Leaders. It's the lack of Austro-HungarianLeaders.csv from HOI\db\leaders. (It's in the mod's directory, but a dummy file has to be in the HOI main.) Maybe the db mismatches are being caused by that? (I seem to have gotten a lot more of them)

I think I put in all of the files that weren't there, and I still have loads of DB mismatch errors... But A-H leaders are showing up, now.

The defeat events fire because of high dissent caused by the declarations of war. Answer? Have an event that reduces dissent as soon as war breaks out, or increase the dissent threshold for defeat.
 
Another option would be to reduce dissent for declarations of war... can we do that?

I would attach the link to the 1.00b download on my first post in that particular thread, but unfortunately it has been closed, so I can't actually edit my first post and make the necessary changes.

Concerning defeat events, I have increased the dissent threshold from 35% to 55% and have altered the events so that they only trigger when the two alliances are at war.
 
Hi all!

I think the biggest problem that there are no mayor towns only one the place of the goverment.
If the ai conquers it like Leningrad in Russia by Germany, it can annex it.
Germany annexed France, England , Russia and Japan this way.
Is this only my problem?
 
No Hungarian Lord, this is a known problem. The VP's were somehow left out, there is a proposed list, but it was never actually put in. It should make it into the next version, along with a multitude of other stuff that was left out (for one reason or another).

Good to hear that there are people with that problem too,i'm not alone. :)
