EU2 is not being patched by Paradox anymore.

First of all, Johan IS Paradox. ;)

Second, the beta patches are for public beta testing for the official 1.08 patch. So, I guess it'd be safe to say that there *will* be another patch released by Paradox for EU2.

No, the beta patches are "unoffical" patches made by Johan in his OWN spare time, not offical Paradox patches.
 
I've understood it like Marcus above.:) There will be a 1.08 patch, we just don't know when.(that's nothing new, really.:p)

As far as I know EU2 will most certainly get a patch 1.08. The beta patches however, are NOT official patches, they are not made by Paradox.

They are inofficial patches made by Johan in his SPARE TIME rather then made by Paradox. There is a minute but still important difference. Betapatches are NOT Paradox patches.

Actually, other Paradox staff and affiliates such as AndrewT and wryun have contributed to the beta patches.
