Removed from Liege war when liege replaced

Description​

I am a vassal in the HRE. They are very unstable, and my liege changes hands like a hot potato. 1105, 1105, 1106, 1111, 1112, 1115 are all years that the liege has changed and it is 1118 right now. While this is going on I am on the border and because the HRE is so unstable they are constantly being declared war on for my land as the title. I am doing pretty well and can defend myself in the war, but while I am in the war doing the heavy lifting my liege will shift and then I am removed from being a war participant. There is no fathomable reason why I am being removed from the war, the war is still going on, my land is still at stake. Instead what happens is the forces attacking my lands are now considered hostile and I get no war score for beating them up and I am stuck in this forever war that slowly waits for defender controls war target to tick over while the attacker gets smashed by me over and over again. This is something that is a recurring problem in my playthrough, and it is super frustrating.

Steps to reproduce​

load the save I provide and let time go by and wait until you get kicked out of the war
