I want to play in a hyperlane-only galaxy. I thought selecting hyperdrive as the only FTL method at the start would accomplish this, but, sadly, it does not. Jump drives will take over the universe once they start getting developed.

How can I remove jump drives from the game entirely?

I thought deleting references to them in the tech files would do it, but I was wrong. Even after doing that, I noticed that I had access to jump drives myself (even though I had never researched them). So someone must have developed or acquired them and then I somehow picked them up.

What files need changed to completely eliminate jump drives?

Yes, I did.
