Repeated blue screen problems

Hello everyone,

I recently bought the game on Steam, but I'm having a blue screen problem with the "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" stop code. I verified the integrity of game files, re-installed the game, ran it as admin, and even other stuff advised against the stop code, but to no avail. I also saw another thread with the same stop code, but it seems to be in the open beta.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

BSoD are always Windows, driver or hardware faults I'm afraid!

First try these Windows repair tools:

And make sure your video driver is up to date.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Vic3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Vic3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

I could only find 2 of the documents you wanted. Forum uploader says system.log is empty and there is no exceptions.log.

I only encountered this issue trying to play V3, which got me confused. Still, I will try your suggestions, thanks a lot!
