I honestly tried to figure out the standard developer tools. I read the manual. But changing the model in the game is very difficult and counterintuitively. Videobloggers and devs don't make modding tutorials. Either you give good modding tools or do FULL customization of the faction (gender, number of models in the unit, number of variants, beards, helmets, pants, etc.). Full damned faction constructor. I don't like bare-assed barbarians, bearded orcs, and helmetless animal races. Seriously. Or the game will be forgotten.
