Research question

Ok, I dont know gow this happened.
We all know we can adjust sliders to set the 'amount' of research we want to spend on a certain tech. Now, at a certain moment, I couldnt do that anymore, when I push my Land tech research al the way to the right by example, the slider always get reset to the front
Hmmm

Also, the slider at the bottom (the 'money to treasury' slider) is greyed out, and I cant manipulate it no more?
Not that I worry, I net a cool 110 Ducats a month
But I was just wondering

Double-clicking on the slider locks it and unlocks it as well.

That freaked me out the first time it happened. My curses were harsh and plentiful until I stumbled upon the answer.

I wish I'd found that out sooner. I've probably spent a full day of my life adjucting and readjusting sliders.
