Ok we are both on version 1.02, running WinXP Home, playing over the Internet direct to IP.
We can connect and see each other. We can start new games no problem, and as long as we avoid tactical bombing (which will always cause CTD) the game runs fine.
When we save and exit we cannot get the saved game to restore. The host will see the screen, select the saved game, the flags come up, he clicks on his flag. . .all seems normal.
The other player joins and can see the host, but the message:
The host has not selected a scenario is visible, no flags, no country tag visible next to the host's name.
Every few seconds the message Counters changed to <ON> flashes up.
Next to the other player's name is a percent number (downloading the saved game no doubt) and some gobbliguck (sp?).
The number will slowly count up to 100, then go back to 0 and start over, we can NEVER get a saved game to restart!
THIS SUCKS! You CANNOT play this game in one sitting, without the ability to restore saved games in MP this game does not cut it! please Help!
