Rewards don't subtract if your in the Red

I'm sure you'll say this is WAD but i'll post it anyway.

I get the event where I can choose how much I can grant my marshal or whatever. If I choose A... the big un .... and i'm already -35, for example, my cash doesn't change after I select A and I get none of the bad side effects of B or C. Sounds like it should be fixed to me...imho

I am not sure I get what you mean.

If you have no cash, event may make you lose even more cash. And then bankruptcy event could kick in. And they may be nasty.

So what is the problem ? Because I know for sure that if the event say -100 gold, and you are at -50, you'll end up at -150...

If you have -35 before event.

You choose A (which says.... -125)

Your total remains at -35 not -160

BTW if your in the positive it will put you in the negative

Could you reproduce it ?

Do other people witness the same behaviour ?

It happened to me twice so I expect so...I was at war at the time if that makes any difference.

Ok playing again yesterday got it again but this time in the positive. I had it work once and not work twice. Also the event Marshal is held for ransom didn't subtract the money from my bank either....and i had +45 in the bank and they asked for 109

an update. The later in the game you get the worse this bug is. In the early stages it seems to work. I am now in the later stages of the game and these events NEVER subtract the money. I have over $10k but nothing is subtracted. The reward your xxx doesn't even work anymore.
