Infact quite a few players fates have been sealed because they were poor politicians in our campaigns.
With that -5 stability penalty breaking truce should not be taken lightly. In 2.31c the rebels are quite tough, as they have a martial 7 general and they copy your own morale rating. Also the general martial bonus in a battle is halved now. Rebels are mostly militia, but 40+ militia cohorts can be a problem.
So, when? I prefer to play medium-small countries. Is the chat crash bug in MP solved?
It is solved in 2.31c, fortunately. I would still prefer another type of communication (MSN etc.).
Which Version?

I say go with the latest and greatest unless there are major problems with it.

I agree, if its the 2.31C I will gladly play online! Here are my choices:
1) Carthage;
2) Rome;
3) Macedonia.

That is Eastern US and Canada right? If so, I can for sure commit to that. Do we have to be very good at the game? I am pretty good, not the best though. XD

And no, you don't have to be a great player. I was just learning Rome when I started in Shelt's MP games, and learned as I went along. I still flub up now and then, and wouldn't mind at all if someone else did too. Particularly if I could take advantage of it!

Well its a bit iffy if i can make it at 7 tmrw I had a conflict with my finals so now ive got one 6-9. i really doubt it would take me even half that but could I persuade everybody to hold off for another hour or half and hour even?

Hahahaha awesome! Maybe we don't even have to go to war?
We maybe can find a way to deal with Sicily.... It would be pretty cool to see a Rome/Carthage alliance.
Need More
There are 5 majors(Rome,Carthage,Egypt,SE,Macedonia) to fill up plus at least 2 minors(Pontus,Armenia). So we need more people. It does not seem likely we will be able to start tomorrow. Hopefuly we can have enough people by next Monday.
