Rivers are straight lines to the end of the world.

Whenever I make rivers, they are completely straight from the generation point. I have indexed my rivers.bmp.

It seems no matter what order I make rivers they never seem to end and stretch from their start point to the end of the map.

Rivers flowing east to west like that generally means that there is something wrong with the color index for your river.bmp. Maybe this will help you.
