Nice tool! I love it!

Any chance to have more variety with the trees?

Would it be possible to be able to picker tool any road but only choose which roads you want saved in the vanilla road UI? When making minor changes you end up with a LOT of them in the UI..
This mod really needs more flexibility in the things you save. I'd be happy if we could group something or choose whether or not a road is saved in the list, or as a template or something. I'm not exactly sure what the best and less complicated solution is, but all I know is I have wayyyyy too many custom roads and they keep switching positions in the road list for some reason, so I just keep losing track of everything I've made...

I think it would be good if roads by default did not get saved or at least get stored in a collection and put away somewhere where they're not in between all your roads all the time, but instead you specifically choose to save a road as a template that you can later on make adjustments to in certain places that don't get saved.

Like I could make a one lane road with 2m sidewalks on both sides as a template for a small road, and then in one section, if I feel the need, customize it so it has 90 degree parking, but it doesn't create a new road.

Try switching the direction of the left tree stripe. If this doesn't solve your problem, idk.

Unfortunately it didn't work. Any addition of a 2nd median between bus lines causes this graphical bug. If you leave one median in the center (like a standard road) then the bug disappears, but in this case the bus stops will be on the other side of the door and redirecting the direction of the buses again creates this bug.

It's sad, it looks like we'll still have to make 2 one-way roads and a bus road in the middle. I hope someday I'll be able to make these types of roads with the mod.

You could check that segment with Traffic Mod if there are some unwanted possible turns.
But, generally, I'd rather build separate roads. Two one-way highways and the bus lane in the middle.

I would love to see the crosswalks not interfere with the parking spots, it's not good for my ocd haha
And also would like to see the traffic lights would be more over the roads aswell.

Would be cool if in the future we get control over decal options so we can automatically do things like place cones on double yellow if we want.

Been using some of the new options from the latest patch:

Strange thing about mod's influence on trams.
I use short (50m) segments of pedestrian road upgraded with tram rails as stops on my tram lines. Once I pick those segments and save them as custom roads, maximum number of assigned trams start randomly change. I was trying to reproduce that, but coudn't. There is no clear sequence that causes decrease in maximum trams on tram line with a few such stops. But on my two routes in the city after saving those segments as custom I am facing reduction on maximum possible trams to assign from 22 to 17/16 (that number randomly floats) and from 18 to 14 on another line.

p.s. seems like removing median from pedestrian road upgraded with tram rails causes that.

Really nice progress since I last checked the mod! I didn't feel like the mod was mature enough for my needs at release, but I'm leaving it in my playset now. Thanks for the great work!

Aaand now to the less pleasant part, i.e. the issues. Sorry! Here's the issues I've found so far.
  • Probably well known, but sometimes segments really don't seem to like joining other segments, so the sidewalks bug out where the segments join. Thought I'd mention it for completeness's sake anyway.
  • The new Discover menu has a tendency to crash. Sometimes when I change to another page or another category, the menu closes and re-opens, but instead of the Discover menu, it's the My Roads menu that's open. When this issue occurs, it's very shortly after opening the new page/category (I think much less than a second after opening - but the new page/category does seem to open successfully before the menu closes). Downloading roads works though.
  • Narrow sidewalks don't (at least always?) work properly. Try creating a 2-unit 4-lane road with sidewalks, and you'll notice all the citizens walking next to the sidewalk instead of on the sidewalk. This was very consistent in both directions, and I did in fact not see a single citizen walk on the sidewalk, I think. My thought is that either the citizens should walk on the sidewalk or creating such a road should ideally require me to disable some safeties from the mod options (I haven't disabled any safeties).
  • Thumbnails might be a bit broken (not sure if fixed on the next game launch, since I haven't tried). There's a fairly generic thumbnail for every Road Builder road. It's the same for all roads in a category, but the Road Builder roads in each category have a different thumbnail than in any other category. This is true even for roads downloaded from the Discover menu where their thumbnails do work.
  • Sometimes the game doesn't really like intersecting Road Builder roads with vanilla roads. I tried to create a 2-unit 2-lane road with sidewalks but no parking, and I think I ended up with slightly widers lanes than the similar vanilla road with parking. When I tried to intersect it with the vanilla road I created it from by drawing it through the road at a 90-degree angle, the game just wouldn't let me. I could draw the road from the vanilla road to create a T intersection, but even then I couldn't draw my road to the other direction after that to make it a 4-way intersection.
Again, sorry for the issues! Feel free to handle/prioritize them however you'd like, just wanted to let you know what I've found so far. Thanks for the great work once more!
