So I had my first go at editing a road asset. It seemed simple enough, and just to be sure I watched YouTube videos on how to do it. I took the 3 lane 1-way road and tried to make the far right lane bus-only. Seemed to work, as the "Bus Only" prop sign appeared in the correct lane (albeit 180 degrees rotated, so I changed the rotation). So I saved and went into my current city. I upgraded a road to the new lane and... my busses use the middle lane instead of the right lane.

The only changes I made to the road were the Lanes Properties for each form to change from "Vehicle, Car, 3" to "PublicTransport, Car, 3" and adding the prop "Bus Only Lane" with angle 180. I also set to speed limit of that lane to 1 from 0.8 in case that maybe messed with it?I saw people say that changing the Vehicle Categories lines don't save so I didn't bother messing with them.

Is there something I'm overlooking?

Bus lanes use the "TransportVehicle" lane type. Does your road work if you change it from "PublicTransport" to "TransportVehicle"?

Thank you so much for pointing this error out. I was given bad instructions on lane type, but it works now.

And thank you for moving my thread. The system of thread placement makes sense now that I know it exists and I will follow it. :)

Glad to hear it works! :D And I can't take credit for moving the thread, that's the awesome moderators who work in the shadows keeping things tidy. ^^
