Quests Allow you to pay less than required

I can't remember what the options were anymore, but in the Robbed Rich Men quest, one of the options said I could pay 200 gold and get Nation's Happiness. It was not greyed out even though at the time I only had 128.8 gold of the required 200 gold on hand. I wondered what would happen if I selected that option so I did. It took my 128.8 gold and allowed it without an issue. I did not take notice if it took any other of my resources to compensate for the extra gold I didn't have however (that would have been a bit sneaky though).

(Spoiler Alert: In case anyone's interested, in this screenshot you'll see the fight between my dragons and lords, including my legendary lord and the Avatar of Helia in the background. Sorry it's not that easy to see any detail. She's tough but she stopped attacking a while ago and is now just 'on guard'. Too bad because 'on guard' is just boring. I wish she'd rally a little once in a while and blast out a wicked attack just to keep my defences up. As it goes now, all I'm focusing on is offence. Still with all my best units against her, she's only half dead and I'm about 25 turns into the battle. My units were pretty weak to start though, not quite ready to take her on yet when she arrived. That legendary lord just got hired as she appeared.)

Here's another example of the same thing happening, this time with the Tomb Robbers event. The option to pay 100 gold and leave the mausoleum is not greyed out, yet as you can see in the screenshot, I only have 52 gold. I did not select that option to try it out but assumed that it would do the same as the other one above and take all my gold even though I didn't have enough.

By the way, it looks like I'm almost out of space for uploading screenshots. Can you please allot me some more space on your server (or delete some that you no longer need)? I can't do it from my end.

Found an error with the second one, and have forwarded that to the devs to be fixed.

Still investigating the first, which seems to be a separate issue - I don't suppose you have a reproducable save on it? I haven't been able to reproduce it, unfortunately...

Just reporting that I got it again, where the Robbed Rich Men quest let me pay less than required. No, I don't have a screenshot and no, I don't have a saved game (too busy playing, sorry)

Also, I just had the same issue with the Greedy Ogre quest. It asked for 100 and I only had 83 and took that.

Here's another quest where this happened again. It's in "A Strange Finding". I like that quest by the way and after playing so many hours, it's the first time I've seen it. Cool. Anyway, it let me pay all the gold I had which was only 97 gold when it asked for 100.

I'd attach a screenshot but it won't let me because I'm out of space to upload one. I've asked before and I'll ask again: please either delete some of my screenshots or give me more space. Thank you.

Here's another one: In the Underground Threat event, the second option says to give some illusory gold. Then it shows a picture of paying 25 mana, not gold. As well, I only had 19 mana available, but I had lots of gold. I didn't choose the option so I don't know if it would have taken the gold or the mana.

The key word for that is Illusory I believe, in that you cast a spell to create an illusion of gold, and as such costs mana. But if you don't have the mana you shouldn't have been able to choose it, so still an issue if you were able to. =)

Of course. It all made sense while I was playing. I think I had just been playing too long (addictive game that it is) and was tired. Then after I finished, the screenshot popped up for me to log and it struck me strange that it showed mana. It was only the fact that I didn't have enough mana that I had it flagged for logging. Sorry about the confusion (the confusion was in my own mind, I know).
