Roman provinces weirdness

I just restored the Roman empire and immediately afterwards I got the prompts to create the provinces of Asia (Phrygia?), Thracia and and Macedonia. But when I did use those decisions, I didn't get those new province titles (which isn't really a problem) and the Roman empire lost those areas as de jure (which kinda is a problem). WAD, bug or what am I missing?

And the province of Asia/Phrygia doesn't cover all of the former kingdom of Nicae but it does share the same flag and color which makes things a bit confusing. I'm guessing those left-over Nicaeanprovinces will be added to an eventual province of Trebizond/Pontus?

After you use the decision you still need to create the title.

Yes, Pontus is slightly bigger than Trebizonid.

Yes if italian counties have not already drifted into the empire.
You can't create that province so if they drifted they'll remain de jure vassals.

Or just don't create province Thracia and keep Constantinople as capital. That's usually the best choice.

Naturally I'm going to keep both Thrace and Latium in my personal demesne.
