Yes, the Royal Preorgatory events are harsh, they're supposed to be, I know. That's not the issue.

The problem is that event 6606 -- the one with the 95% chance for the vassal to be grumpy and a 5% chance for the vassal to reluctantly bend to your will -- doesn't stop things even after the 5% fires. And it should, since the 5% part firing is supposed to set the vassal's law to royal preorgatory, which should end the trigger on 6606.

But it doesn't. I've had a vassal reluctantly bend to my harsh ruling laws and mere days afterwards come up to me and complain about their harshness yet again. No other events intervened. Is there anything I can do about this?

I believe the eventcommand is broken in that it doesn't really change the laws of the vassal.

Ah, that'd do it. Time to kludge that one then, since it makes things considerably worse for Royal Preorgatory if the vassals will never stop questioning you, yet still cost you prestige 95% of the time.

edit: kludged popular law, too -- wow, poor popular law :(
