RPG Succession Game: Second Attempt

I'd like to set up new game/AAR of this type. Everyting - country, settings etx is negotiable. Here is what is is about

Idea
For me, one of most joyful and interesting thing on playing EU2 is to solve problems that came out and deal with (mostly) difficult sitaution. Being leader of same country for up to 400 years is somewhat weird (yes, try to stay alive for such a long time on this world as leader of country...inhuman task ). So my idea:

Some sort of shared PBEM game, when few players (I'd say 2-4) will play same country, each one for period, lets say, 30-50 years (considering that's time during which you can achieve something and it's easily excusable as life-time of monarch/ruler). There may be some rules, like when you manage to drive your country to civil war and monarch fells, you end up and send game to next player in queve. Players may initially split gameplay time into parts (most likely reign of different monarchs) and agree on who will play which period. There will be some timelimit (let's say 3 days or week) for player to complete his period (game period!, e.g. 1452-1491). After this period, ending player would send savegame to other players, so they can check status of the world and next player can take up his duty. Optionaly (and preferably), players could write some AAR about their period of reign and present their achievements (both positive and negative).

Not this time. I already got difficulties to follow up (and eventually failed, due to lack of time), and since I've found a job I wouldn't be able to get in even for one monarch.

But I'll subscribe to the threads to read your adventures.

I'd like to do this one in more relaxed tempo. No rushing. I'm employed too and my time is stretched between many things.

So it'd be something like one update in week or two. Unless players themselves want to make it faster. But with respect to everybody's time and decisions. When one cannot make his monarch even in 2 weeks, he'd just pass it to next player and do next one when he has time to do so.

I'm interested , just depends on the day, I can only play regularly on Fridays and sometimes on Saturdays, so it might just fit. But I'm not sure if you could find 4-6 players per country when myabe games struggle to find enough perms...

It is not MP, at least not normal MP. We play one country and each player succeeds previous one. So we play serially, not paralelly. In last game (few months ago - or years? ), we played England. Where players played specific monarchs. We were only 3, so we were rotating. In one of threads linked above is link to AAR post. AAR was called 'Kings and Queens of England: RPG Succession Game AAR" or something like that.

I'd like to play this kind of game and write some nice (although it may remain only my wish to make it nice...) AAR about reign of my monarch(s). This way history of that country traced by monarchs would be created.

What detail do you need to know? I'd prefer to keep it public so I dont have to hold extra agenda for eveyone Just ask what is not clear, I'll answer you. Also, in first posts of those threads linked from here is it described quite well IMHO.

I agree with Ironfoundersson, this belongs in the AAR forum. It's like the game MrT organised long ago where different writers played different Danish Kings, each writing about their reign. Forget the title of it now.

Ahh like that. In that case I'm very interested, if I have the time ofcourse. I did try doing this with Flame of Udun, Von loch Ness and Matija but it failed when one player didn't feel like writing his AAR. I hope this one would work out.

Ah, I saw that one When one is unable to play/write his part (due to lack of time, etc), he should pass to another player instead of killing it off. Then, when he got more free time/taste to continue (as another monarch), he can.

The thing is the most of us(*everyone besides you* ) liked more to play the game more then to write about it.
