run HOI2 inside an application window?

Hi,

I tend to do a lot of alt-tabbing from one application to another, which I quickly realized is a bit of a problem with HOI2. I would like to be able to run HOI2 in a "well-behaved" application window (not taking up the full screen and not pausing for full screen rewrite every time I switch back to it). Is there any way to do this?
 
I know someone made a mod for other Pdox games that allowed them to run in a window, maybe check out or ask in the HOI1 modification forum or even check the HOI2 one.

But for the official game the answer is no.
