Running on crappy Video card

First, love the game

Unfortunately, my Radeon 4830 died over the weekend and I had to put my old X300 video card back in. I figured since CK2 doesn't seem too graphics intensive it should be able to run the game. But when I run it everything is black except for the cursor. Anything I can do or do I just need to get a new graphics card?

Almost every paradox game is graphics card heavy as the game uses its memory to do certain things. So in short this game takes a lot more out of your graphics card than some 3d heavy game.

Certainly check for updated video drivers. You could also post your system.log and dxdiag.txt files here.

You will most likely not get the game to run on that graphics card I'm afraid.
