Chapter VI: Turn of the Tide (Forming a Nation Part IV)
Southern Oceania's future was now in the palm of our hands. All that was left was Acehs island. And of course that would be our nations next military objective, taking majority control of the island into our hands. But before that we would have to wait for our infamy to get into a safer number.... or so we thought. We were going to play it cool until our Northern border nation Lan Na began sending diplomatic insults to us saying that our land belonged to them. This led to Border Friction......
I was going to leave it alone, as our nation couldnt go to war with them for more purposes then one..... but then the decided to use Espionage to make our nation suffer from the inside. The Nation had spoken, and this was probably the war that I wanted the most....
I answered their claims with military retaliation. And their allies, Bengal and Dai Viet, joined the war with them.
There troops werent as much as i thought they would be. Right as the war got into its true colors, Majahapit decided to lead a war against me. Their ally Aceh joined the battle.
Lan Na's forces had either completely routed or they were in another territory fighting. Their allies didnt come to help them either. The only nation to take an offensive initiative.
Lan Na was the first to fall to our might. I forced them to cede Moulmein.
Majahapit fell soon after.
Afterwards we went through a long period of peacetime. During which our emperor passed away, ceding the throne to Tei.
After years of building the economy, my infamy was finally low enough for a war to unite Indonesia. I declared war on Malacca and Aceh. Acehs army was decimated.
Perak was the first to fall.
And afterwards there entire nation fell.
But because they were the wars leader, I couldnt sue for peace until Aceh was destroyed. and that only took a month.
Tei had successfully defeated there two armies and taken all their land.
Victory...... WAS MINE!!!! But it wasnt over yet. Majahapit was still alive. I had just killed off their allies, so I needed to take them before they could ally with another nation.
The war didnt take too long. And with that, the only nations standing between me and total control of Indonesia was Ming and Portugal.....

Chapter VII: The Land That We Created (Forming An Empire)
Two regions away from total domination of Indonesia, We set our sights on economical gains to wait for the correct time to attack. And this was a good way to start.
Very big income boost. While building up from the inside it came to my attention that Arakan, was all alone along the coast with no Allies. We had to act fast before they made any initiative.They were my next victim. Easy Conquest.
Two more cores in the following years.
Then Denmark declared war. It didnt take long......
While in the middle of a war against various Rebels, We took this opportunity to attack Lan Na. Dai Viet and Bengal both joined. The war was fairly easy, since the rebels did my work for me keeping their main army occupied. Their army was broken, and our victory was assured.
After 15 years of peacetime, I seen that Lan Na was in another war. I immediately began preparations for the attack.
Finally our nation tapped into firearms!!!
During the war something amazing happened..... Ming was defeated by the combined forces of Lan Na, Dai Viet and Manchu and Wu. Their surrender conditions??
They did my job for me!! They gained a new ally and province. But by then they were broken and it was only a matter of time before they were destroyed... My conditions to their surrender??
OUR FORCES AGAIN WERE VICTORIOUS, AND WE WIPED LAN NA FROM THE FACE OF THIS EARTH. With this momentum, any army would be a breeze to defeat. With a high infamy we decided to have another peacetime and build the economy. Then we came across this island.
But the men werent satisfied. They wanted war.
The Council thought they would be an easy expansion. But Manipur was guaranteed by too many nations that I couldnt take at once. So we put this on hold. But the men wouldnt give up on war.
So I granted it to them. With Wu preoccupied in India with their own war, they would not be able to save Malacca. Not a single ally helped them.
But Champassak took this opportunity to declare war on me. The war was over before it began....
Malacca fell soon after.
During our next peacetime, I decided to use espionage to give Lampung a chance to revolt from Portugal. While waiting I gained 4 new core provinces.
Two years later we gained a core on Riau. Then a few years after that, my hopes came true.
Lampung Revolted reforming the nation of Aceh.
Easy Victory.
We now had full control of Indonesia.
The only nations left that could even oppose me in Asia are Orissa and its allies, Vijayanagar, and the Mighty Ming itself. Our next level of conquest would be the rest of Indochina. Then from there, there would be no one that could match our strength.

im so upset that this is bout to end. its just now startin to get juicy. if only there was more years in the campaign I could take ming. next time i play i know what to do.
It's quite hard to take down Ming , especially is they are not fractured like in your game.
Far from a WC, but in a way, much more interesting. I haven't seen anyone else try to colonize before starting a conquest of SE Asia. Great job so far!
This is a great AAR, very interesting and Rauchen is right; more fun because it's not a world conquest.
I'd agree, its been fascinating seeing you build a power base and you've also pretty much ended the risk of later European colonisation in that region

In 1755, five grand wars broke out in Asia.
1) Dai Vietan Conquest of Vientiane
Attackers: Dai Viet, Ming, Taungu, and Champassak | Defenders: Wu and Khmer
2) Qin Reconquest of Yichuan
Attackers: Qin And Xia | Defenders: Dai Viet, Ming, Taungu, and Champassak
3) Orissian Reconquest of Chittagong
Attackers: Orissa, Bengal, Maharathra, and Mysore | Defenders: Vijayanagar, Bihar, and Assam

These five wars changed the course of the Asia entirely. Ming who was falling from power reestablished and stabilized their power. Wu, Qin, and Xia began to lose their power to the forces around them. Vijayanagar reestablished itself as the most feared nation in India by defeating Orissa. Korea also began to expand into Manchu who had now collapsed to the brink of extinction, making them a grand power. And our glorious army of Ryukyu began to solidify its power in Asia. With that, Asia was essentially split between 5 great nations: Khorasan To the West, Vijayanagar Of India, Korea to the North, Ming Of China, and Ryukyu Of the Southeast. We of Ryukyu might not have been as strong as the others, but we were still strong enough to be seen as their rivals. As the others were to busy flaunting themselves, we took our opportunity to attack Khmer. The only ally to help them was Champa. and they shared the same fate as Khmer.
After their annexing, we had a peacetime that nearly lasted ten years.I decided that Manipur would be the next nation to fall, for their only ally was Assam. It was a short war, Assam was too scared to join the war. But they were not safe from me. I would come for them later.
With that, My only enemies left were the Wu\Lan Xang Alliance, Xia\Korea Alliance(Personal Union that Korea Led)), Dai Viet\Taungu\Ming Alliance, and the Assam\Vijayanagar Alliance. I would take my chance with Wu. And the spirits blessed us with VICTORY!!!
Now it was time to turn my attention back to the west. Assam was now my next target, for they had a core on one of my regions. I declared war on them, and their ally faithful protector Vijayanagar joined them. I was now going to go head to head with the strongest nation in India. I wasnt after Assam's land, so the second they were beaten, I took my province and turned my attention to Vijayanagar.
I was disappointed with the war. It was a fairly easy Victory. I didnt want to drag the war on, and I couldnt get my boats to their mainland so I took what they would give me.
After that war, Burgundy declared war on me. This was a bitter treat to swallow. My defeat was swift. My nation was strong enough to stop most of their advances, but we lost in strength to numbers. Luckily I lost no provinces in the struggle.
After the war, Dai Viet was annexed by Ming. Lucky for us i still had the cores from a Boundary Dispute a couple of years earlier. In 1787, we gained 8 new cores.
Then a few years later, Xia was integrated by Korea. Wu didnt take a liking to that and declared war on them. I took this opportunity to declare war on the strongest nation in Asia, Ming. Their ally Taungu joined them.
Taungu was an easy victory. Ming on the other hand was much more complex. At the start of the war, I had them beat in numbers. With my grand total of 105,000 to their 75,000. The majority of their army was moved to the land that they took from Dai Viet. It consisted of 44,000 of their army. They were the first to fall. We then took a full offensive straight into the heart of their land. Even though we were winning, It felt as if we werent advancing at all. it finally came to my attention that it was because we had fought so many battles, that it had completely drained out our manpower. Before Ming could capitalize on that fact, I sued for peace.
Then in the Middle of all this, Tibet declared war on me. Their allies Lan Xang and Qin Joined. during that war, i had gained 3 new cores, and on of those cores was my Center of Trade, Malacca.
I had just enough space in my infamy to annex Lan Xang.
Then after some peacetime, Xia had revolted from Korea. It was a quick annex.

But what they failed to realized, was that Assam was the leader of the war. My land was nearly taken from me, but Assam fell before my might. With the leader gone, the coalition army fell still. This was their last chance to stop my rise to greatness, and I reigned victorious.
With that came the end of our glorious campaign...
And with that, there was no nation that could take me down. In the last war, it became apparent that the other forces had to ally themselves together to stop me. I WAS NOW THE STRONGEST AND MOST FEARED NATION IN ASIA!!!
Now the only question I ask is, 'Who's Laughing Now'?
The answer is simple. We Are!! Glory To Ryukyu!!!

Now that was fun. the ending made me sweat bullets. This was my first AAR. I would appreciate some feedback if you have some. Personally i give this campaign about a 6/10. If I did it again, I know I'd rip Asia a new one.
Now its on to what nation to use for my next one. and what nation to use for my next AAR. Im leaning towards Holland(Netherlands), Frankfurt(Germany), Ferrara(Italy), or Connaught(Ireland). I've actually had great success as Ireland and Italy. Tell me what ya think.
