Im gutted. The demo worked fine for me. But now I've paid for the game its propper slow. It takes about 15 mins to load up and once its loaded, everything lags. Its unplayable.

So what can I do to sort it out?

Do this and see if it helps. Also, do your computer stats match the requirements for the game?

Its really strange actually. It takes at least 10 minutes to load up. Then when I start a game it lags for long time. However, if I battle through this, it eventually starts running ok.

Now Im a total and utter newb when it comes to PC gaming really. (Im used to consoles) I checked out my laptop and this is what I've got:

Proccessor: Intel(R)Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66 GHz 1.67GHz
RAM: 1022MB
System type: 32-bit operating system
nvidia GeForce Go 7400

I saw on the minium requirements that you need 1.9GHz Intel pentium. So is mine to low then?

Can I somehow change some settings in the game to make it run faster?

Are you running Windows XP or Vista? If Vista you'll need more memory, and yes, your CPU will be a problem. You could post your settings.txt

I've got Vista. I was thinking about getting more RAM for my laptop, but I have no idea how to do that. Is it possible to put more RAM on a laptop?

Can I update my CPU on a laptop also?

Sorry to be totally clueless

You can't update a CPU on a laptop, as a rule. Ram, yes, almost certainly. You'd need to look up your exact model on the maker's website to see what exact memory type it takes, and whether you can simply add 1gb to your existing 1gb, or you have to remove your existing 1gb and put in 2gb new. Some memory vendors' sites can usually help you with that stuff, Kingston is one.

ok Cool. I'll try and get some more RAM put into it. A friend of mine mentioned getting more but I thought you couldnt update a laptop. How much more should I get? Would 2GBs be enough?

32bit Vista can only handle up to 3gb (well, between 3.25 and 3.75 depending on the bios) so there's no point in getting more than 3gb. Going from 1gb to 2gb should make a big difference, from 2gb to 3gb less so. Unless the laptop is very new, it can probably only physically hold 2gb anyway. So again, you need to check with the laptop maker to see what your options are.
