I am well into my Byzantium game, where my kingdom has salic(NOT semisalic) consanguinity or something along that spelling road. Now, this means that the strongest child or grandchild etc is first in line. But since it's salic and not semisalic, women should not trace inheritance, right?

Now, you see: My king has one surviving son(who has an illness btw, very disturbing...) and two surviving daughters. These two daughters has been married away to men from other dynasties. Now they are gettting childeren themselves, and guess what? They are all next in line for inheritance after my son!?! This means that salic do trace inheritance throught women... :(

I think this has been reported already and only concerns Salic Consanguinity (not Salic Primogeniture or Salic Gavelkin).

Okay. I've taken a look at the reported list once earlier and gave up to read it all... I take it's being fixed in the next patch then?:) And are there any way to fix it for my game?

Well, I have no idea whether or not it's being fixed as I am not a bug fixer, just a fan.

One temporary fix for it would be to change to Salic Primogeniture, as it won't trace through women, but I think it's not necessary as long as the first in line isn't traced through women (except if you care about who gets claims on your primary title...).

I care more about my only, sick son...;) I'll have to kill 4 or 5 children to get to my own dynasty again...!
