I am well into my Byzantium game, where my kingdom has salic(NOT semisalic) consanguinity or something along that spelling road. Now, this means that the strongest child or grandchild etc is first in line. But since it's salic and not semisalic, women should not trace inheritance, right?
Now, you see: My king has one surviving son(who has an illness btw, very disturbing...) and two surviving daughters. These two daughters has been married away to men from other dynasties. Now they are gettting childeren themselves, and guess what? They are all next in line for inheritance after my son!?! This means that salic do trace inheritance throught women...
