I'm loving this game but it's becoming harder and harder to stay there. Yesterday, my save games were lost after a crash along with 4 hours of gameplay. I realize that you are working on a fix, but in the meantime, is there a location on the C drive where I can backup my save games manually? Thank you.

Thanks, but I looked there and there is no Save folder. I wonder if it is cloud saves only, which is maybe the problem?

I am terribly sorry to hear you're struggling with your savefile. If you are playing using GamePass the saves are stored in the cloud. More fixes for Game Pass is on its way in the Archives - Patch 1.2 update. We're currently fixing some urgent issues in this update and will let you know as soon as we have an ETA. I don't remember ever playing a game that didn't save games locally and I've been playing games for decades. If it did, I could make local copies of the files and I would feel much more comfortable playing again. I'm not playing this game again until these issues are all fixed. I can't help wonder if cloud only saves are part of the problem.
