Save game visibility in Win 7?

I can't tell if I'm going batty, or if there's really a problem here...

Okay, have run CKDV with the Beta Patch for years under XP, no problem. Just installed all that onto Windows 7 for the first time. The game loads fine, but when I save the game and go to examine the save file --- there's none listed in the Save Game folder.

I've tried saving under multiple file names, and I've also switched the file search to "all files" instead of just .txt files. No luck. Am I missing something?

Where did you install the game ? Under Program Files ? If so then in your save-game folder there should be a button with compatability-files, click on that and that should lead you to your save-games.

It was introduced with Vista

With Vista and Windows 7 it is better to not install the game under Program Files but under C:/games or something similar. Then you won't have these problems.
