A saved game under version 1.4.1 is now consistently crashing after the new update. I have tried to revert the game back to the previous version through Steam, but the game will not even launch when I do that. Any other suggestions, aside from starting a new game from scratch?

If it was not ironman, you should have autosaves from before you loaded it under 1.4.2 - do they work?
If ironman though, all you can do is post the save in the Bug Reports forum here for QA to look into.
