Saved Game Loads Improperly

Hi,

I'm running a game in 1.09 NA version and I've saved a game while I was in diplomacy view. This morning I went to load that game, and I'm still in diplomacy view by default... I can switch to other views by using the appropriate buttons, but I cannot get back to the default military view because the new default view is the diplomacy view. I've resaved the game with the trade view on and upon reload I ended up in that view as default. The problem is that I can't really play the game if I can't see military units and such, and I've tried everything I could think of to get back to the normal map viewing mode - but there is no button to toggle to it (to my knowledge) since the game normally returns to it when you press "Return to Main" button after viewing a different mode.

In any case, I've looked through the fourms and I couldn't find a similar post or a solution. I'm going to try to return to an autosave game and be more careful when I save the game next time I don't really understand why the game would save the particular view mode... but that's perhaps just my limited imagination.

Saved game crashes

I had a similar problem but my saved game would restore in the "Religion" mode. I fixed it by clicking on the 'Tree' at the bottom of the left toolbar (it's under the diplomacy button). That fixed the problem for me.

....there are another 2 buttons there that are interesting too!
They are "greyed out" until the cursor hits them.
