I only started playing recently but all of my saved games have suddenly vanished. It’s like they never were! When I hover over Resume it shows the last time I was playing (yesterday) but says it can’t play the save as the file is corrupted. I tried via Load Game. Show incompatible saves doesn’t make them reappear either.
Playing on Mac Big Sur but off an external hard drive.
I don’t see the save files anywhere when I look manually on my computer or the drive. I have successfully loaded save files before so it’s a new problem that’s just happened. I’m also always careful to eject the external properly to avoid corrupting files.
how could this have happened?
