I installed HOI 1.2 + HSR 2.01. I begun a game with germany, and, till '40, impossible to save. In fact it saves, but it creates a 0 ko file (unusable).
The autosave is fine (13.4mb), and when I load it, it's stuck @ 75% of the loading progress...
