Savegame crash

Hi. I'm from Italy. Sorry for my english.

I know you don't support users who use mod, but I'm going crazy.

I use 1.3b+SMEP+DAIM.

I was playing with hungary. It's 22 August 1942. Game crash.
Reload autosave 1 August 1942.

It starts...goes from 1:00 1 August to 2:00 1 August. and then it crashes.

Everytime...

Reload save 12 July...crash

Reload oldautosave. . . crash.

But before i played to 22 August!

Please. Help me. I'm going crazy...

Welcome to the forum.

There is a problem with DAIM, it can't be used with 1.3. See this thread.

In any case we do not support user made mods for obvious reasons.

I've copyed the savedgame into hoi2 vanilla version 1.3b

It ask me where are the ai_swtich files...so i copyed these ai_switch files from daim+smep version to vanila 1.3b version.

It crashes.

You cant use daim mod and 1.03. If you want to use the daim mod you must play with 1.02.

Castellon, you can move this to the daim forum.

It would be interresting to know which DAIM version you are using
( The Name of the *.exe installer ).
Maybe you are using an oudated version of DAIM.
And it would nice if you can zip an mail me your savegame to stephan@hlawatsch.org

Then it crash.

If I copy those files (Ai_Switch) it crash.

I restart playing with my Jan42 save. It's ok, but when date switch to June it crash. It should be 6 June...Don't remember.

It's not the first time it crash on '41/'42. It's the fifth time i restart playing with hungary... -.-

However i'll send sooner i can saved game to Spooky.

I meant, If you start a new vanilla game as Hungary, does is crash?

The AI switches, are they from daim or smep?

Never tried playing hungary with vanilla.

however switch ai files are from DAIM. They have deleted Germany ai files and put their own ai files into ai switch files.

I'v sent autosave file to Spocky

I used your savegame and tested it with the newest daim(7.1.2006) and 1.3b twice and had NO crashes .

So possible reasons for your crashes can be
-) a broken HOI Install
-) Problems with SMEP

What you still can try is the following.
Backup your savegames and your config.eu , reinstall HOI the patch 1.3a and 1.3b , then SMEP and DAIM-20060107.exe

It crashes again... I've reinstalled SMEP 4.0 +DAIM last versione.

I've loaded Jan42 savedgame

Every time it's 7 June 42 it Crashes. Everytime...

I'd bet my money on SMEP for the crash, we couldn't find any problems on a clean 1.3b + DAIM installation.
