Savegame Trimmer Question

Hey y'all,

Following the successful savegame trimmer I made for EU3, I was contemplating making one for Crusader Kings: DV as well, removing the "unnecessary" information from a save file. For example, many, many of the dead characters could be gotten rid of (though not all, of course, for inheritance reasons.)

I wanted to check, before I did this, if any such tool already exists? Is there a functional, extant savegame trimmer for Crusader Kings: DV already?

In DV the game already does remove dead characters and all of its relations itself.

It's not the case that the game removes all unnecessary characters. For one example, it keeps my dead children, and the dead children of my courtiers. These children, having no children themselves, have no function in the game.

So, my question is whether there is a program already that removes all of this *ahem* deadweight.

There isn't such a thing for DV yet (though there was one for CK)
