I read the wiki and seen this:
It is possible to stack the effects of a sacrifice by making another one while the effects of the previous one(s) is ongoing, which has the additional effect of extending the length of the stacked effect by another 5 years. However, as the cost increase of each additional sacrifice stacks quickly if the effects of previous sacrifices are still active, trying to save political influence this way is generally of limited effectiveness unless the country already has a highly reduced sacrifice cost modifier.

Please, explain to me the logic of this statement. I'm very bad in mathematics and just don't understand, how can I save political influence this way if I have a highly reduced sacrifice cost modifier.

Basically, if you sacrifice near the end of the five year +stab period, you extend the period AND increase the stab gained. So you'd get the same stab for five years for one sacrifice that you'd normally get for two sacrifices, then another 5 years for three and so on. But as the article says, the benefit to this rapidly tapers off due to increasing costs per stack of sacrifice you have.

Reactions:
As of 2.0.3 there is no longer any PI saving to be had this way. Each stack increases PI cost by 100% and increases stab gain by 100%. The first stack of stab gives you 9 stab for 50 PI, the second 18 stab for 100 PI, etc., which ends up being a consant rate of 0.18 stab per PI. (Of course your actual gain will be a bit lower because you're always losing stability to decay unless you're exactly at 50 stability).

Things used to be different: Before 2.0.2 each stab up would increase PI cost by less than 100%, so each subsequent stack of stab would increase the stability/PI ratio.

I don't know what the wiki is on about regarding stab cost reduction: With high stab cost reduction you're less incentivized to stack multiple stab ups, because the impact of the stab cost reduction is by far the highest on the first stab.
