Scenario editor crashes

I dont know if this is the right place or if it has been asked(couldent find anything)
but when i launch the editor i have this "standard" world map
i cant do anything with it thou
so i try and open the world to war map and then editor crashes
it does this everytime i try and open it
i tried it on different machines and its all the same
what can i do?
is the editor just broken or is there anything i can do??

Probably the known bug #4497 with the 1936 scenario...

Go to this thread: http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59158&perpage=20&pagenumber=2 and look at the fix Castellon posted near the bottom of the page (it's the second of his posts on that page, not the furst one). With any luck that will get you up and editting to your heart's content.

Was this with 1.03 or 1.02 installed?

So what is the info you are talking about.
